QLD Changes

Important change to the QLD Solar Bonus Scheme on June 7^th 2011

Note: As at 3:00pm EST, June 7th 2011, Ingenero has closed off new applications prior to the 5:00pm cutoff. 

The changes have taken effect, and in a nutshell the changes are;

• Limit the size of residential solar power systems to 5kW, previously up to 30kW was allowed.
• Only one system is allowed per eligible premises or billable location with a power meter.
• The feed in tarrif will remain at 44c per kWh.
• The minister has indicated a cap will be applied, but so far no more details have been announced.
