QCC Solar Challenge

Traditional electricity supply costs increased by more than 13% last year, and we are likely to see further cost increases in coming years resulting from carbon pollution reduction measures and growing demand, particularly in South East Queensland.

As the peak environmental body for the Queensland, the Queensland Conservation Council (QCC) launched its solar challenge by teaming up with Ingenero on an exciting new initiative offering affordable, high quality, solar power systems. The benefits are great:

•    No deposit finance available
•    Pay off monthly (with the savings you’ll be making on your electricity bill!)
•    Uses current government rebate incentives
•    Secures your home energy supply, long-term
•    Provides a possible source of income
•    Reduces greenhouse gas emissions
•    High quality systems, and excellent long-term warranties and support

No deposit finance available

You can now put a quality solar power system on your rooftop for no up-front cost, then use the savings from your electricity bills to pay off the system. Thanks to a low cost solar loan from NAB. you too can go solar.

Save on your electricity bills and reduce greenhouse gas emissions

In the face of rising electricity prices, switching to solar will substantially reduce your household’s energy consumption, save on your electricity bills and shield you from predicted further increases. Currently you can expect a 1.6kW solar power system to reduce your household’s energy bills by between $450 and $1200 a year and cut household greenhouse gas emissions by around 2.6 tonnes.

Generate income from solar power

The Federal and State Governments are supporting the uptake of residential solar systems: the Federal Solar Credits reduce the cost of the system and the Queensland feed-in tariff pays you for the solar power you send into the grid. All Queenslanders can sell their surplus solar power into the electricity grid at a minimum of 44 cents per kilowatt hour, with some retailers paying even more. By taking advantage of this feed-in tariff, the solar power system pays for itself much more quickly than through power savings alone.

Quality systems with extended warranties

An Ingenero solar power system is designed and manufactured to ensure maximum power output. This means you can make the most of the system’s ability to feed power into the grid and lower your energy bills. The panels come with a 25 year performance warranty and Ingenero's Premium range of systems have a plain English 10 year parts and installation guarantee, while the Economy range comes with a five year parts and installation guarantee.
