In April 2009, Ingenero and the University of Queensland began a research partnership. As part of the partnership, the two bodies will work together on a number of solar energy projects including researching methods for optimal integration of large renewable energy sources within off-grid (for example diesel generator) stand alone networks as well as within existing standard grid infrastructure.
