In November 2009 Ingenero became a preferred supplier of solar hot water systems to the Lake Macquarie City Council, for their community bulk buying program.

Through their Hot Water Cool Price program, the council is offering discounted solar hot water systems to encourage residents of the region to take advantage of rebates on offer, save on electricity bills, and reduce their carbon footprint.
