Our Policy
As a leading clean renewable energy business one of Ingenero business objectives is to facilitate the reduction of the broader community’s carbon footprint. We recognise our social responsibility and will foster relationships with the community to achieve this goal. At Ingenero we believe in implementing sustainable businesses practices into our own operations and take corporate responsibility for achieving environmental best practice. Ingenero is committed to continually improving our environmental performance and it is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and business associates to do the same. Ingenero will promote environmental awareness amongst our employees and they will be trained, educated and informed on environmental issues affecting their work. All our operations will comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice. Our purchasing practices will give priority to products and services that do the least damage to the environment. Waste will be reduced throughavoidance, re-use, recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials where suitable and available. Promote the efficient use of materials and resources, especially non-renewables targeting our use of:
- energy
- water
- vehicles
- flights
Our employees understand our environmental policy and conform to the high standards it requires. Management address complaints about any breach of our sustainability policy promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned. Ingenero applies the principles ofcontinuous improvement and reviews the Policy annually in consultation with staff, community and customers. The Implementation Plan with its clear outcomes and targets requires progress to be reported regularly to the Ingenero Executive Team and subsequently on our website.
