Ingenero understands the complexities involved with the integration of solar energy generation on rooftops, in embedded micro grids, remote grid and fringe of grid environments. Our approach is not to install the generation unit and walk away, but to work with customers to ensure a fully integrated solution is supplied.

There are a number of key components which make up a Photovoltaic system and undeniably the most critical of which is the PV panel itself. Worldwide there are many different manufacturers of Photovoltaic panels, using a number of different technologies and methods of construction. There are also nearly as many different claims as to whose panel performs best and under what conditions. To ensure that the very best components are utilised under the varying conditions experienced across Australia, Ingenero has created a Systems Integration Lab (SIL) based in Queensland. Covering an area of approximately 2000m2 and brimming with an impressive mix of highly sensitive measurement sensors, Ingenero is able to conduct a number of detailed tests across a number of different panel types and manufacturers. Before committing any panel to a Ingenero installation, exhaustive tests based upon scientifically controlled measures are conducted to ensure that they match the high quality standards set by Ingenero.

What the Systems Integration Lab does:

  • Tests supplier equipment under Australian Conditions
  • Develop solutions that ensure we maximise power production capabilities of specific systems.
  • Ability to integrate different components of a solar generation system
  • Provide a visual demonstration of Ingenero’s commitment to delivering strong, robust solutions.

Ingenero collaborates with leaders in this field to provide integrated solutions for renewable energy systems with power grids and diesel generators. In 2009 Ingenero entered into an agreement with the Univeristy of Queensland, making the SIL available to  the university for post graduation research.  The Ingenero Systems Integration Lab is just one other way, we have reduced the responsibility and cost of running a PV System.
