Community Power Initiatives
Ingenero runs many community initiatives to help councils and community groups reduce their CO2 emissions and electricity costs over time, and to engage local communities in adopting solar technology. Our community initiatives also help boost local job creation and economic diversification. Some of the current community energy initiatives we are working with local councils to deliver are:
Brisbane City Council's EzyGreen Program
Ingenero is a partner of the EzyGreen program which is designed to help Greater Brisbane households make more environmentally sound choices and reduce power bills in the process. Together we are encouraging the uptake of solar power and solar hot water in Brisbane homes. Read more...

Lake Macquarie City Council
In November 2009, Ingenero became a preferred supplier to Lake Macquarie City Council for their community bulk buying program, Hot Water Cool Price – delivering affordable, quality solar hot water systems and huge savings to residents' household energy bills and environmental footprint.
