Step by Step Solutions Guide
Ingenero uses a sucessful formula to project manage the whole lifecycle of your solar power service.

Step 1: Define your goals
Discuss your organisational goals with one of our Business Development Managers.
Step 2: Choose a solar solution that suits your needs
Choose the solar solution which best suits the needs of your organisation:
- PPA Solar Solution, or
- Turnkey Solar Solution
The PPA Solar Solution is best for customers who:
- prefer to keep their capital for critical business
- have limited asset management resources to operate, monitor and maintain a solar plant
- like the idea of having no risk
- want the benefits of a solar power system without the hassle, for the life of the system
The Turnkey Solar Solution is best for customers who:
- are willing to invest capital upfront in a solar solution
- have the inhouse knowledge to operate and maintain their solar solution
- can manage risk

Step 3: Feasibility assessment study
Ingenero undertakes a feasibility assessment study, carried out by specialist engineers and system architects. The study usually includes data gathering, site inspections and budgeting.
- Data gathering includes a review of the site and its suitability for a solar power installation, assessment of current energy use and a review of environmental objectives.
- Budgeting includes an estimate of savings from a solar electricity installation and development of a financial model and pricing structure.
Step 4: Design, construction and project finalisation
Ingenero designs and engineers a solar solution that is tailored to meet your objectives. The most common solar applications include:
- roof mount systems
- fixed ground mount systems
- tracking ground mount systems.
Ingenero manages the entire construction planning process including equipment orders, logistics, network advisory on interconnections and rebate/subsidy applications. If a PPA Solar Solution has been chosen, project financing is also addressed.
Solar arrays, power conditioning equipment, wiring, data acquisition systems and communications equipment are installed in accordance with best practice standards, ensuring the system will operate at maximum output.
A solar solution presents organisations with prime opportunities for promotion and publicity: capturing large amounts of energy free from the sun is a cause for celebration and a mark of distinction. Ingenero can help plan a promotion campaign aimed at staff, clients and suppliers and the local community.
Step 5: Certification and operation
Ingenero takes full responsibility for the accreditation of our solar solutions by ensuring they operate at optimal performance. We rigorously test processes and identify baseline use and emissions savings before activating the system to provide clean, renewable energy from the sun.
Step 6: System monitoring and maintenance
Ingenero is able to monitor the system around the clock every day of the year with EcoWatt Online Performance Monitoring. This monitoring service uses innovative, state-of-the-art technology to ensure all solar systems are performing at optimal capacity. Should an issue arise, certified technicians are deployed to address them.
Clients who subscribe to EcoWatt Online Performance Monitoring may view the output and showcase their solar power system via live data streamed online directly from the equipment.
