Alliance makes solar affordable on the Sunshine Coast
An innovative alliance between the Sunshine Coast Environment Council (SCEC), MCU Sustainable Banking and Ingenero makes solar affordable for householders on the Sunshine Coast.
This region already has one of the highest adoption rates for solar in Australia and this project is set to make it the national leader. The 10,000 Solar Roofs Project follows on the great success of the 1,000 Solar Roofs Challenge run by SCEC in the first half of 2009.
The project was formally launched by Cr Keryn Jones of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council on 12 December 2009.
